What would I do without Web 2.0

Hi Everyone,

This week I had the seldom opportunity to take a trip with my family. It's been a long time since we have had a vacay. I'm here writing a post to you on my first night because I encountered something interesting. As we rode in separate cars we had a group chat open. In that chat, we started to post funny pictures of us in our car. I thought back to our previous vacations and I don't remember us having this type of connectivity. Of course, we had a good time, but I believe that social media creates a different element. I think that people are encouraged to document their experiences because of the accessibility that social media provides. Even though so people believe that these platforms serve no real purpose I would have to disagree they help to build deeper connections.

    Hi Cornelius!
I'm glad you had a great vacay with the fam! that's not really an experience I can relate to, unfortunately. However, I am hopeful that I will be able to start such a tradition with my future family. At either rate, I was thinking about how your comment on social media and what it does and does not offer to people's lives.
I can definitely see both sides of the coin given today's society and how social media is like people's blood line to life. Given the context of you use of such abilities, I don't necessarily see an issue. However, it becomes an issue when folks substitute real human connections and interactions with like and DM's. Like ALMOST everything in li8fe, it has it's pros and it's cons. I just haven't made up my mind which side of the coin I want to live on...hahaha
